I am a veterinarian and an attorney dedicated to combating animal abuse, with a specific focus on the welfare of animals in rodeos. I frequently consult with animal welfare organizations and individuals seeking assistance on various animal abuse issues. Recently, I traveled to New Zealand to conduct a series of press interviews and collaborate with animal rights organizations regarding the physical damage caused by rodeo events and effective strategies for opposition.

I graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary medicine and from Vermont Law school. As a veterinarian, I worked on large animals before changing to surgery.  Also worked for USDA before becoming a state prosecutor.  I was actively involved in starting spay neuter clinics to combat pet overpopulation.  During this time, I also worked with the police on animal abuse cases here in Vermont.
