Gene Lorenz is a seasoned business professional who has developed extensive experience while working within the information services, data management, communications, healthcare and publishing industry sectors. He has acquired deep business management expertise by serving in various organizations as a management consultant, director of operations, vice president, senior vice president, chief executive officer, and chairman of the board.

Gene is the former chairman and chief executive officer of NEXUS Healthcare information Corporation, a Washington DC based provider of global information services focusing on healthcare regulatory and payment issues. Subsidiary company product offerings included publishing, information management, data management, management consulting, seminars and conferences. These companies’ global reach included the United Kingdom, Thailand, Burma, Brazil, Canada, and most of Western Europe. NEXUS created the ‘Healthcare 100’; was first to publish on medical capitation and payment approaches, and was actively involved in M&A activities. NEXUS’s success did not go unnoticed. In 1998, the company was acquired by UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company [UNH].

Gene has authored, edited, and/or published hundreds of books and periodicals. He received his Master of Hospital Administration degree from The George Washington University, in Washington DC and his BS in Business Management degree from Bradley University, in Peoria IL.
