Chris Blazina Ph.D. draws from extensive professional experience including being a practicing psychologist for 30 years, an award-winning author, psychology professor (retired), and researcher. He is the author of nine books and more than 70 research articles. He writes for both academic and general audiences. Most of his work focuses upon the important roles animal companions (dogs) play in men’s lives. He also discusses the often difficult and complex issues of animal companion bereavement and continued bonds.
