Helen Kopnina, Ph.D. is the author of over 200 peer-reviewed articles and (co)author and (co)editor of 17 books on interrelated topics of environmental sustainability, circular economy, biological conservation, environmental ethics and animal ethics, and environmental education.  She received her Ph.D. from Cambridge University in 2002 and currently serves on the Faculty of Business and Law at Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK with teaching and research responsibilities in sustainable business, environmental sustainability, environmental education, degrowth economy and biodiversity.  Her books include: Sustainable Business: Key Issues; Circular Economy: Challenges and Opportunities for Ethical and Sustainable Business;  Sustainability: Key Issues, East to West Migration; Culture and Conservation: Beyond Anthropocentrism; Environmental Anthropology: Future Directions, Low Carbon Development: Key Issues; Nuclear Waste Management and Legitimacy: Nihilism and Responsibility; Anthropology of Environmental Education; and Health and Environment: Social Science Perspectives.
